Big News! "Save Ohio STRS" is proud to support Michelle Flanigan for this spring's STRS board election.
Save Ohio STRS joins the Ohio Federation of Teachers Union, American Association of University Professors Ohio Chapter, Ohio Retirement for Teachers Association, Ohio STRS Member Only Forum, and STRS Ohio Watchdogs in endorsing Michelle Flanigan for the STRS board.
Michelle is a teacher of 26 years in the Brunswick City Schools and appreciates the importance of a secure pension for Ohio teachers. She is informed, principled and understands that years of STRS mismanagement has resulted in teachers working longer and paying more for less benefits.
She will not rest until our pension is back on sound financial footing and able to restore full retirement benefits at 30 years of service -- not 34 years!
